District 2452
The island of Cyprus is located at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea and is home to 19 Rotary Clubs and 9 Rotaract Clubs.
Cyprus is part of Rotary International District 2452, which stretches across the continents of Europe, Asia, and Africa and includes: Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, Sudan, Bahrain, UAE, Georgia, Armenia, and Palestine.
Although we are separated by different continents, languages, and cultures, we are united under the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”.
Rotary International is the world’s first service club organisation, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio.
